Event Policies

Booking & Fees

Events are defined as any studio reservations that do not revolve around a photo or video production taking place.

Small events can be booked at our production rates with a $150 refundable deposit.
Events exceeding 25 total guests require a $250 event rate fee.
Events that are reserved past 10pm require an additional $100 late night fee.

The full amount must be paid upfront to reserve your date, and we do keep a card on file for liability purposes.


Our studio is located in a private commercial warehouse, and our floor is primarily accessible by freight elevator.
Renters must provide a chaperone to welcome guests into the building and escort them up the elevator. While the building does have a large private parking lot, renters must ensure that guests do not block any of the loading docks in front of the building.

Food & Alcohol

Renters are welcome to bring their own food & alcohol to the studio. The studio has a kitchenette available with a sink, full fridge, bar and counter space, coffee machine, water cooler system, a single induction top burner and microwave.

Alcohol, however, can not be sold on the property. Any guests that abuse alcohol or any other substance may be asked to leave by Studio Apparatus to avoid any harm to the facilities or its guests.


Cleanup is the renter’s responsibility - the studio must be put back in its original condition as well as can be done.
Trash must be taken with you. Any necessary cleaning, repainting or repairs needed following your rental are subject to additional fees charged to the card on file.
