60 minute lecture on photography fundamentals, theory, and technical exercises. 

60 minutes of live shooting, hands-on overview of specific camera functions, addressing your specific goals, and time for Q&A.

Photography is the most accessible high-tech art form in human history. Today, people from around the world and all walks of life are creating beautiful and vibrant images constantly.

This workshop is designed to leave you with a complete understanding of visual composition theory, learning the challenges of taking a great photograph, and a technical understanding of how to circumvent those challenges and use your camera most effectively.  

Whether you are a beginner, hobbyist, an Instagram enthusiast - or a seasoned and experienced professional - the principles and techniques covered in this class are bound to diversify your skillset, leaving you with the confidence to capture amazing photographs in any given situation.

Igor Kovalchuk has been practicing & mastering his craft for nearly a decade. His experiences range from exploring urban & rural wilderness for the sake of fine art experimentation, to facilitating countless commercial productions - in studio or on location - with his knowledge and experience in photography a vital asset. Enamored by the medium's marriage of technical ability & artistic vision, Igor is passionate about exploring the capabilities of his tools to push the limits of creative expression through technology.

Igor has an Associate's degree for Commercial Photography from HTC. He is currently a freelance photographer & DP, and co-owner at Studio Apparatus.
