So you’ve shot your film – now the puzzle pieces need to come together to create movie magic.  You’ve got the assets, now lets make them a piece of art.  This class will give you the technical tools and the narrative theory to effectively edit your digital film.  Post-production is where you tell a story.

Topics covered:

  • Working with non-linear timelines
  • Special effects: Color correction, warp stabilizer, digital push, etc.
  • Setting up Premiere workspace
  • Smash / Match / Jump style narrative cuts
  • Editing as narrative structure & modifying a scene by changing where cuts land
